Welcome to Acorn Brewery, the home of meticulously crafted award-winning ales, including our supremely popular Barnsley Bitter.
Our distinctive beers are brewed with only the finest malts and hops and we also use the same yeast strains as the original Barnsley Brewery, founded in the 1850's.
With our wealth of experience, our dedicated team here at Acorn produce a core range of ales to which we add monthly specials, seasonal beers and occasional ales (annual events, Bonfire night, Christmas, sporting occasions etc). Please check our current/seasonal beers page for more details.
Our full range of bottled beers are now being stocked by the Rhythm & Booze chain of off licenses based around Yorkshire and Humberside.
Our shop is now open, selling our bottled beer range and (at the moment) a limited selection of polo shirts/fleeces and baseball caps from the brewery. We also have beer glasses and presentation packs Please email us with specific requests/sizes.
